AAA services are state and federally funded programs that include Community Aide and Personal Care Aide services. Note: Respite services include Community Aide, Personal Care Aide, Home Health Aide and Licensed Practical Nurse services. The following programs are available to meet your specific needs.
- Respite - Short term relief for those caring for persons with special needs.
- Personal Care Program - Personal care for persons qualifying through DSHS.
- Chore Program - Household tasks, meal preparation, errands and transportation service to persons qualifying through DSHS.
- C.O.P.E.S - Community Aide and Personal Care services for the elderly or disabled persons.
To find out if you qualify for Personal, Care, Chore or C.O.P.E.S. programs, contact Home and Community Services at DSHS. To find out if you qualify for Respite, contact Northwest Regional Council in Whatcom County or Senior Information and Assistance in Skagit or Island Counties.
